Hot Fun in the Summertime - Joe Bark is a saint, Sly Stone too
Paddleboards are lifesavers in heat like this.
and I've had this song in my head all day - the soundtrack while paddling around Gloucester harbor, "America's Home Port".
John, how'd you get your Bark out here? I logged some hours on one just like that last year crewing for my buddy's cancer fundraiser www.paddle2live.org and I'd love to get one back home to Maine. Shipping must be gnarly! Oh well, I'll be back in the Channel Islands paddling again this year -- my buddy's doing 260 miles for the John Wayne Cancer Center. JC

Hi JC - this isn't mine - but I may buy is someday.
ReplyDeleteLuckily there's a surf shop in RI- Warm Winds, they carry Bark paddleboards, that's where the original owner got it.
Can you imagine the shipping nightmare this would be otherwise?
