Irma was a deadly storm, it will take years for Florida to recover; the Caribbean, even longer. So while folks in New England were enjoying classic late summer hurricane groundswell, hundreds of miles to the south others were struggling for their lives. Stoked? Well, up to a point. People are hurting and need help, and All the stoke and good vibrations don't amount to a hill of beans when there's looting in Tortola for example. Why does it take disasters for us to realize what's really important in life's journey?
It started off small enough Thursday evening.
But by Friday the groundswell from Irma had filled in.
A square rigger was on the horizon asd this young lady hooks into a nice right. Yarr, pass the grog, maties.
One big ass yacht lazing by as well.
Further down from the point was working too.
