Thanks to the most excellent Thee Electric Sunshine blog these gems haven't been forgotten. I was just starting out as a 31 year-old surfer, mentally a blank canvas (in more ways than one). Seeing this on VHS at Redney's surf shop in Newport RI got me hooked on what I felt at the time was a very pure style. This movie was way ahead of its time, and has been shamelessly ripped of ever since its release around 1997.
