Just Paddling Around

August started with such high hopes since July ended with some fun waves. But a classic New England August, with fun summer waves and a fair shot at a hurricane swell wasn’t to be. But rather than gripe why not make the most of it and enjoy the warm weather and unusually warm water.

Historic Gloucester Harbor can offer some amazing paddling when the wind and swell are flat. Many a sunset this summer was watched from the SUP. It’s been said before but it’s like an old Fitz Hugh Lane painting you can jump into and live in for a few hours.
